J's new words and an Update

I haven't blogged much lately for some reason. I have lots to say and time to say it but not much giddyup to put it to paper I guess. I went private a bit ago, thinking I would write more and be able to express more of what's going on around here. Don't know how that's working out since I haven't wrote anything in awhile :-)

One great thing is J is talking up a storm!! He is saying new words all the time and it's fun stuff. Today he said "dink" for drink and "puppy" was pure as day. His words are super clear. Now the kids are getting in trouble for screwing around at bedtime. Daddy Piper will take care of that :-) But his words are coming everyday. He can now say along with loads and loads of giggles:

It is fun to being a mommy to these wonderful 3 kids. We seem to have adventures constantly. Yesterday was a haunted house that L built in the playroom. She was very detailed with chairs, spooky lighting and even jumped out from behind the door to begin the scary adventure. We had fun with her spooky haunted house. She was Spookmaster 2010.

Saturday was a miserable headache for Mama. I am still battling these life altering headaches. I was seriously out of it for the most of the day. It was terrible timing, what with Sleepover Extravaganza 2010 (more on that later). I was in bed most of the day, dying a slow death. The night was even more painful. I began praying for death at some point. I have always been so scared of dying but somewhere about 11 or 12 o'clock during the night - death was welcomed and I was no longer scared. I hurt that bad. I prayed and begged and bartered for the pain to go away and about 12:30, it did! Daddy Piper was amazing, again. He rubbed my back, my feet and listened to me cry about the hurt and pain I was suffering through. I could not believe how miraculous I felt when the pain was relieved. I woke up Sunday morning feeling RENEWED! I did get woke up by this door bell ringing sound at 6:45 AM, when I could have been sleeping but nooooooooooo, my sis texted my hubby to check on me and her text WOKE ME UP! I looked all over trying to find this sound and eventually figured out it was his phone.

Sunday was a wonderful day that gave me a new leash on life. I hadn't felt better than I did when I was woke up early that Sunday morning. I was praising God and thanking him over and over for release from that pain. I grabbed my Sunday papers, made some coffee and took advantage of the time alone early in the morning. My girl got up shortly after so I got to have some quality time with her before she ditched me for the computer and I went back to my coupons :-) Now it was my turn to go back and holler at some kids for screwing around at bedtime - it's been an hour and they were still messing around back there! So Sunday was such a great day for family time. I made biscuits and gravy for breakfast for the first time. L & I went and had our first pedicures together. Daddy noticed her feet were looking like mine, rough around the edges, so he suggested we go get our feet done. Our plan had been to have sushi since we learned about Japan all week but she picked toes over sushi - DARN! The pedicure was relaxing. The time with L was priceless. She chats and is just a joy to have around. We ran to Target for another prescription (ANOTHER TARGET FAIL!!!!), grabbed some more monster trucks for S's upcoming birthday party then got some carne asada for later. The afternoon was spent welcoming a friend to drop his truck off here and Daddy Piper ran him back to his motel. S got to ride with them and oh my goodness - he was in heaven getting to go with the big guys. He did fall asleep on the way there and snored the whole time :-) Dinner was carne asada and pinto beans.

Lots more about the evening and another headache, the rain today and all the fun that brings, Target pharmacy sucks and my family ROCKS.
