Musical Beds

Last night was musical bed night around here. We all started out where we belonged and by 2:30 this morning the configuration went like this:

L was in bed with Daddy
S was on the couch with me and J.

Then by 4:00 it was like this:
L was in Mama and Daddy's bed by herself since Daddy was gone to work;
J was back in his crib;
S was moved from the couch back to his bed but not before waking to realize J was missing and crying out that J had fallen off the couch :-)

Daddy had told L a few weeks ago that if she ever got scared, she could come get in bed with us. She took this to heart and has been in bed with us at least once a week since then. I understand the meaning of a family bed. One night last week, it was the entire clan minus S in our bed and that made for a very full bed!!

Somehow even with all the bed-hopping, I woke up this morning rested and happy to face the day.
