Fabulous Friday

Today was my first day home alone with all 3 and guess what? It went well! Daddy Piper had work today so I was on my own. Thankfully I have 2 wonderful little helpers to make my day easier. My little girl helper is reading this out loud to me as I type. She has become such a great reader!! I laid off the pain pills for the day since I was the responsible adult around here. I was hurting by the time Daddy Piper made it home though. But the day was great. We played outside some, had a picnic lunch while watching Thomas the Train Halloween and did schoolwork today. L has been so upset since its been a week since we did "workbook" but we made time for it today. I got some quality time with S since he woke up before L and while Baby J was still napping. That was nice time alone. This evening, we had some yummy spaghetti for dinner (leftover from last night but still great). Then we took the kids to the local church parking lot for some bike riding. We live on a dirt road and it's easier for them to learn on asphalt. After the fun riding time, off to Target we went. It's the 2nd day in a row we went to Target as a family. I am still not able to drive and I needed my prescription. Being a family of 5 has been easy-peasy so far since Baby J is a sleepyhead (just like his big sis!!). After Target, we made an ice cream stop. We came home to dinner on the porch and whatever dessert was left was snatched up by Kazoo. I don't know who left dinner. The person who was on the list already brought dinner earlier in the week to be reheated. Dinner sure looked good though!! It has been a great 1st week of Baby J's life so far!!
