I took my boys out alone today - my first venture with 2 of my 3 chitlens alone. S wanted to come with so off we went to get Baby J's blood work (2 hour wait - no thanks, c-ya!). Then off to get my prescription and a stop by Target to get it filled and pick up some pj's for the kids. It was a successful trip.
My 2nd born, 1st boy has been feeling a bit jealous the last couple of days. I think today's trip helped reassure him of his mama's love or at least I hope so. My firstborn seems very secure of her place in our family and pretty unaffected by the addition of a new baby. She wants to help do things for him and then goes about her business. Hope she stays that way and hope S gets better, realizing I love him as much as I always have.
Tonight's dinner was delivered by another great friend. We have had meals brought by so many people since coming home a week ago - it's been a blessing to not have that to worry about! We even had a meal dropped off and didn't know where it came from - we know now... what wonderful neighbors we have!
So far being a mom to 3 is everything I hoped for and more. It's nice to have my heart filled. Not saying that if another comes along unexpected that I wouldn't be pleased :- )
